Pressure Washing You Home

Just as you want your home interior to always look spic-and-span, your home exterior and much of your outdoor surface must be clean, too. The stains, dust, and dirt on your siding and walkway mar the true beauty of your home. You can remove them by using every homeowner's magic wand—the pressure washer.

Pressure washing involves other crucial tasks than simply spraying water on a surface. Some stains just don't seem to come off, no matter how high your water pressure may be. Fogging or presoaking the surface with detergent or cleaning agent will help soften the dirt until it becomes easier to wash off. Using hot water instead of cold is also a better way of rinsing the surface.

It's also important that you choose the appropriate nozzle for your pressure washer to have full control of the flow of water. The orifices in these nozzles come in different sizes which affect the speed of the ensuing jet of pressurized water. Choose a nozzle with an orifice that can take out most of the dirt stuck on your wall or pavement.

Despite the easy availability of the necessary equipment, pressure washing your home is a downright tiresome and difficult task. You might even be disappointed if there are stains and dirt left on your walls after all the efforts you exerted. It would be better to entrust the job to professionals for more satisfactory results.
